Clancy's red wins Best Bordeaux Rhone Blend

Australia's Legendary Red - Clancy's - has won Best Bordeaux Rhone Blend at the third annual Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition that took place in the USA. This competition included some 800 applicants from 12 countries.
The winning 2009 vintage is a blend of Shiraz (39%), Cabernet Sauvignon (38%) and Merlot (23%) with fruit sourced from a cross section of the Barossa’s famous sub-districts with diversity in altitude, soil type and micro-climate.
