Wigan trumps at this year's wine shows

Our Wigan Riesling has proved to be the wine show champion this year winning trophies and medals galore around Australia.
During the Barossa Wine Show in September, the 2005 Wigan Riesling took home three trophies including ‘Most Oustanding Barossa Table Wine’, whilst the Wigan predecessor, 2002 Reserve, was given the trophy for ‘Best Museum White Wine’.
Earlier this year during the Sydney Wine Show, 2005 Wigan picked up three gold medals.
More recently at the Adelaide Wine Show, our celebrated Wigan won the trophy for ‘Best Riesling in Show’ - the 2006 vintage - and just two weeks later the 2005 was awarded at the Melbourne Wine Show for ‘Best Mature Wine 2005 and older’.
It’s no secret that Wigan is a crowd favourite, after being awarded eight trophies on home turf last year alone, and five trophies in 2011.
